The watch is triple signed Longines and also has clear assay marks for 18K gold
The watch has a start, stop, fly back and reset chronograph function with a register.
The watch is in good working order.
Movement – the high quality gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and exposed steel work for the chronograph function. The movement is signed “Longines” and Reg 19.73 under the balance. The movement is in 98% mint condition – pristine mint condition
Case – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold Hunter case, which has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The inner cover is decorated with two rows of individually engraved medals and is signed “Longines, 5 Grand Prix, Paris – Anvers – Paris, Milan, Bruxelles, Chronographe, Anti-Magnetique”. The inside of the case is also signed “Longines”, stamped 18K and numbered # 2962478.
The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when you press the button in. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – ultra light surface scratches only and two small blemishes on the side of the case
Dial – the white enamel dial has a subsidiary dial and a 30 minute register. The dial has a full set of gilt hands and a blue steel chronograph hand also. The dial has an outer chapter ring graduated into fifths of seconds, The dial is signed “Longines, Anti Magnetique” and is in 99% mint condition – superb condition
