By Dechaume and Delafontaine, in the Persian style, comprising a central clock with a pair of flanking two light candelabra.

A pupil of David d'Angers and of Pradier, Adolphe-Victor Geoffroy-Dechaume (1816-1892), provided models for both goldsmiths as well as bronzes for Delafontaine. Together with Barye, he contributed to the shaping of some groups of mainly controlled by the Duke of Orleans, he also participated in the design of the dressign table executed by Froment-Meurice for the Duchess of Parma, now in the Musée d'Orsay, Paris.
According to the accounts of Geoffroy-Dechaume, it appears that in 1852 the sculptor drew the design of a clock "in the Persian style" for Delafontaine. An example was therefore present in the 1855 Universal Exhibition in Paris.
