A large New Hall porcelain bowl, c. 1815. Vibrantly hand painted both internally and externally, in an Imari style, with large flowering plants, issuing from underglaze cobalt blue rocks, heightened with gilding. Having gilt bands to both the rim and foot.
Pattern '1153' in iron red to the base.

Diameter - 22.6 cm, 8 7/8". Height - 9.5 cm, 3 3/4".

Condition - Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in exceptional condition. No damage. No restoration.
