A 20th century oak joint stool with a leather upholstered seat.
The stool is made by Wilf Hutchinson who was an apprentice of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson, making furniture in the same way.
Wilf Hutchinson opened his own furniture workshop in 1957 in the village of Husthwaite, near Thirsk.
The stool is signed with a carved squirrel and all of the joints are dowel pegged.
The stool is in very good original condition. (Circa 1960)
