This image was part of a series of work done in 2004 in Stratford. Royal Photographic Society member Brian Griffin has made 165 portraits of the workers and managers involved in the construction of Britain’s first high speed railway. The construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link from St Pancreas in London has taken nine years to construct, with 8,000 people working over 50 million hours to build it.
