This Settee is an important piece of furniture. It bears the stamp and label of the Princess of Wales "HM Princess of Wales" Victoria Mary Countess of Tech married George Duke of York second son of Edward VII in 1893. They lived at Marlborough House Pall Mall. When Edward V11 died they became King George V and Queen Mary in 1911.
This Settee is probably made by Holland and Son.
