Item Description / Dealer Expertise

Very simple and elegant George III sterling silver round, cup-shaped, pair of salts. The salts have a gadrooned rim and stand on a circular, pedestal, foot which is engraved with four bands of reeding. The original gilding inside each salt is an attractive lemon colour and is in excellent condition.
These salts have such a pleasing and simple form that they would blend very well with any pattern of tableware and one would never tire of them.
