These quality mahogany pair of Chinese Chippendale design Edwardian armchairs / Bergere armchairs circa 1900 are in the ‘cock pen’ design. With open lattice work sides, blind fretwork fronts and have been beautifully upholstered in an expensive quality fabric, these quality chairs have the original makers/retailers label pioneer stores, Liverpool. These quality antique chairs are rich medium mahogany colour with a Striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
