Both columns with “scrapwork” or “patchwork” specimen marble inlay, above inlaid floral splays in the base; the first representing pansies with Florentine marble and coloured shell, the other representing white jasmin with malachite and shell, on a stepped plinth bases of polished Derbyshire limestone, retaining traces of the original red paper linings to the under side.
Some minor chips to the edges of the plinth base, otherwise in exceptionally good overall original condition
