Circa 1820, pair of Dutch marquetry side chairs, with a profusely inlaid top rail, the back and seat are padded upholstered recently in linen. The front rail and all sides of the chairs are also inlaid with classic Dutch marquetry. The square tapering legs to the front are slightly swept forward, and the back legs are also swept backward. Wonderful colour and excellent condition.
