Extremely Rare Pair of George 111 Period Freestanding Mahogany Chests - Pembroke Table of Generous Country House Proportions . The rounded rectangular drop leaf tops each above an arrangement of six real and six opposing dummy drawers with locks stamped "Bramah " on tapered square legs with brass castors .
An unusual formation of table ...certainly a one off item made to specific order typical of Gillows Lancasters client requests . "Being Freestanding would make an admirable Pair of End Tables .
Excellent naturally faded....Beautifully preserved original gilt lacquer swan neck handles of imposing dimensions .
