An important pair of antique sterling silver plates with plain styling and unusual naturalistic leaf border. Excellent quality and manufacture as you’d expect from this world famous silversmith. The underside bears the pattern number 371. Total weight 1177 grams, 37.8 troy ounces. Diameter 27 cms. London 1813. Maker Paul Storr (1771-1844).
These handsome antique silver platters are in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Excellent quality as you’d expect from this much prized maker. Lovely crisp mounts. Bright colour. With a full set of clear and matching English silver hallmarks. These plates have been polished and there is just a little light surface scratching.
