Each back with a central shield bearing coat of arms and carved name for Lowdham and Kelvedon within fluted supports surmounted by faceted finials and enclosed by intricately pierced borders, the fluted legs united by pierced and arched rails joined by octagonal stretchers.

The de Lowdham family were Lords of the Manor of Loudham, County Suffolk; Frenze, County Norfolk and Kelvedon, County Essex for many years until the manors passed to the Blennerhassett family by marriage circa 1423.
