Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
A pair of Edwardian mahogany Hepplewhite style elbow chairs.
The chairs have shield shaped back with a pierced central splat that has carved wheat sheaves at the top and marquetry inlay at the base.
Each chair has a pair of shaped arms with reeding carved down the front supports.
The chairs have square tapering reeded legs with spayed toes at the front and square sabre shaped back legs all held together with an 'H' shaped stretcher.
The chairs are upholstered in an aged green hide with brass studding around the seat edge.
The chairs are very heavy quality and in very good condition and would make excellent arm chairs for a partner's desk.
