Pair of antique English pearlware pottery bough pots sometimes referred to as Crocus Pots.
The bases have a relief molded border and are decorated with three elegant underglaze prints of birds and a country landscape with a mountain in the distance.
Classic Regency style they were made to sit on the mantle and would have been planted with bulbs in the spring time and dry twigs and flowers in the autumn.
The covers are very striking with three lions heads, the pieces look stylish with or without floral display.
Some professional restoration
