Rococo-style detailing - including semi-nude figures, animals, urns and floral motifs - abound in this wonderful, flamboyant pair of Meissen porcelain candelabra. Each candelabrum has two lights, which issue from scrolling porcelain branches decorated around their outside with flowers and grapes, as if attached to a vine. The finial of each candelabrum also features more of these floral and grape motifs. The central stem is formed as an acanthus trunk, mounted with a gilded eagle, under which stands a semi-nude Classical figure.

The figures - beautifully decorated and delicately formed - are shown wearing draped floral clothing. The male figure is shown holding an object in his right hand, and has a dog by his side, while the female figure is shown holding a goblet in her right hand, with an urn by her side. They are modelled standing on circular naturalistic plinth bases which are decorated with drapes and bands of gilding.
