Circa 1900, pair of Scottish oak bookcases, with a simple cornice with a deep frieze above 3 open sections with flat pilasters. Below are 3 panelled doors with brass drop handles in the form of acorns, the side gables have fielded panels, and all stands on an enclosed plinth. One bookcase is slightly darker than the other. The top sections may have had doors in the past. Quality is outstanding.
Size 228cm high x 196cm wide x 48.5cm deep. (One is a slightly different size at 193cm wide x 50cm deep).
