A fine, tiny and exquisite pair of saltglaze and enamel coloured leaf shaped dishes.
The dishes have the crispest relief moulding imaginable with flowers, leaves and a butterfly painted in enamel colours. They stand on three flower head feet.
One of the smallest and beautiful forms made in Staffordshire saltglaze during the mid 18th century, they are true gems and rare survivors.
