A pretty pair of antique sterling silver salvers of small size. Fully matching. With gadroon borders and splay feet. Lovely crisp engraving to the centre with scroll foliate decoration and flowers, and within the central cartouche there is an armorial with a crest of a boar. Weight 440 grams, 14.1 troy ounces. Diameter 16.5 cms. London 1860. Maker Barnard Brothers.
These attractive antique silver waiters are in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. The silver marks are all matching and very clear to read. The engraving is very crisp.
