A large pair of Sterling Silver pheasants made by Berthold Muller. Continental in origin, they were made in Germany and then stamped with British sterling silver hallmarks for London 1910 when they were imported into the UK. The birds are hollow and the heads lift off enabling them to be used as containers, for tea etc. Hallmarked on the bodies and the pull off heads.Length, head to tail:360mm,310mm.
