In this ribald image, two men laugh knowingly at a funny story, the image was inspired by a 1935 Mongolian painting titled 'Naughty Story'. Silver and grey mica accent a paper screen in the background, through which the silhouette of a Chinese temple can be seen. The western perspective is remarkably realistic.

Woodcut printed in colors on handmade paper with the artist's watermark, signed in pencil and with the artist's 'Ivy' stamp, from an edition of 250 and stamped 52/250 on verso, carved by Maeda, printed by Honda, Uchikawa, and Ogawa, with margins, in excellent condition.
