This heavy sifter is modelled in the very rare Coburg Pattern which is double struck and displays a beautiful raying shell on the reverse of the bowl. The bowl is pierced with roundels and scrolls and the top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest. This rare piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked. This pattern was designed for the Royal Retailers Rundell, Bridge & Rundell in about 1810 and was made by Paul Storr. It is perhaps the pattern for which he is best known.

Length: 5.9 inches, 14.75cm.
Diameter of the bowl: 1.9 inches, 4.75cm.
