A fine pearlware pottery bowl commemorating King and Constitution with underglaze blue and white transfer prints of King George 111 and his Queen. The portraits are encircled with the script " A KING REVERD A QUEEN BELOVED" and "LONG MAY THEY LIVE". The portraits have the English Rose and the Scottish Thistle entwined as an expression of anti Jacobite sentiment. The bowl is in very fine and clean unrestored condition and is a good display piece with quality definitions.
