A framed pier mirror by the Rowley Gallery of Kensington Church Street, London.
(NB. The mirror plate has been covered to avoid reflection.)
The gold coloured frame supports a good sized mirror with a marquetry panel above.
The marquetry panel depicts a rural village, farmyard scene made up from a variety of woods. It is titled `Salcot`, based possibly on the Essex village of Salcott-cum-Virley near Colchester. William Chase was the main artist for most of the Rowley Gallery designs. Original paper label on the reverse
Some slight scuffing of the frame, at the corners and edges.
