Lilian Mary Reynolds was a portrait painter.
She studied at Ridleys Art School and then in Brussels.
Lilian exhibited her work from 1884 to 1914, 3 at the Walker Art Gallery; 7 at the Royal Academy; 2 at the Royal Society of British Artists, 62 at Ridley Art Club;
2 at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters; 1 at the Royal Miniature Society and 2 at the Society of Women Artists. The influence of the great portrait painters of the day, Sargent, Da Costa can be plainly seen in her paintings which have a broad brush painterly quality to them that captures the character of the sitter.
Lilian lived in London.
