Royal silver.
A Victorian silver-gilt covered Vase, in neoclassical style, London, 1871, Samuel Whitford [probably], with clear glass liner. The pedestal of the vase engraved with the coronet and cipher of Princess Maude Charlotte, daughter of the Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra, born in November 1869.
The weight given below is for the vase without the glass liner. The glass liner is a replacement.
Good. Some wear to gilding around fixing nuts under base.
