An Important Livery Collar exhibited by the
Eager Heart Company
The central heart-shaped panel with pierced, chased & repousse figures, illustrating the Art of Giving.
An elaborate mantle of laurel leaves surmounts a pierced inscription ‘Eager Heart’ 1907. The other seven panels, worked in the same manner, illustrating various charitable acts, joined with an elaborate linked chain, with Celtic knots & foliage.
H: 8.5 cm (3.35 in) W: 14 cm (5.51 in) L: 122 cm (48.03 in)

Stamped makers’ marks. Marked on the reverse of the central panel:‘To the Glory of God in the Service of Life, In Memoriam E.F' Inscribed: 'Presented by the First Prologue 1904 to the Company of Eager Heart 1907'
