The inverted bell-top case with gilt brass handle and foliate scroll pierced fret to the upstand flanked by foliate cast finials, above brass lined break-arch windows to front, back and sides, the front door with fretwork infill to the upper quadrants and foliate cast brass escutcheons, on moulded base with cast brass squab feet. Haughtin was not a prolific maker, however his work was held by his peers in the same regard as that of Tompion and Quare.
