N.B. Morgan and Sanders were established at 16 and 17 Catherine Street, The Strand, London from 1801 until 1820, specialising in patent metamorphic and export furniture. In 1820 John Durham, their foreman, bought the business from Thomas Morgan after the death of Joseph Sanders in 1818, acquiring all the designs and patents at the same time. John Durham worked at Catherine Street until 1826 then at 16 Rupert Street, Haymarket, London until 1835.
