Extremely Rare Set of Six George 11 Period Scarlet Coloured Japanned Side / Dining Chairs .
Each Chair is Profusely Decorated Throughout with Outstanding Gilded Chinoiserie Scenes on a Scarlet Japanned Background with Figures, Fauna and Flora Subject Matter . The Typical Vase Shaped Back Splat and Tapering Caned Seat Standing upon Cabriole Front Legs with Adjoining Stretchers Suggest the work of Giles Grendey , Clerkenwell London Circa 1730
Very good country house state ................ "typical of laquer " small areas are in need of sympathetic refreshing , at present waiting for clients instructions as how untouched is their personal style .....Michael ( I ) adores them in their present state .
