A impressive mahoagany bracket clock. It has an arch top case with boxwood inlay and stringing, a convex painted enamel dial with a convex glass, brass loop side handles, brass ball feet and brass fishscale fret sides with a red satin lining. The double fusee movement has an engraved backplate with a matching engraved pendulum. The dial is signed by the original maker, Clerke, 1 Royal Exchange, London.
The case has had light restoration, the dial has been restored,the brasswork has been polished and lacquered, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months
