Regency Mahogany Antique Bow Fronted Sideboard.
This classic Regency mahogany antique sideboard, circa 1800, has a bow fronted reeded edged top above a central drawer with brass handles and brass key escutcheons. This is flanked by two deep drawers, again with brass handles and key escutcheons and unusual reeded edges. The antique sideboard stands on elegant tapering legs and has the usual marks and minor old repairs consistent with age and use which only add to the character of the piece. It is a warm, medium mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
