Regency Mahogany Antique Chest of Drawers with Birds Eye Maple Decorative Panel.
This fine Regency mahogany antique chest of drawers with, circa 1820, has a rectangular top above a beautiful birds eye maple frieze with decorative ebony string inlays. The chest of drawers has two over three graduating cock beaded drawers with beautifully turned handles and stands on splayed bracket and is finished with an elegantly shaped apron. The piece is a rich, medium, dark mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
