Regency Mahogany Chest on Chest Antique Tallboy.
This is a fine example of a Regency mahogany chest on chest tallboy dating from around 1810. It has a moulded cornice above two over six graduating oak lined cock beaded drawers with oval brass handles. The antique chest on chest stands on splayed bracket feet and splits into two which aids transportation. It is a dark mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
