Circa 1815, large Regency mahogany mantel clock, with a stepped pagoda top crowned with a brass pineapple finial. Below the top the case is flame mahogany and has 4 quarter brackets with brass inlay. The clock itself has a large brass bezel with oval concave glass, two simple hands and white enamel face with Roman numerals. The fore edge of the clock is chamfered and has brass inlay. There are glass viewing panels at the side and very stylish cast brass lifting handles. Below the dial is a stylised ribbed shaped timber on the front fore edge, a simple frieze and the clock stands on 4 squat cast brass feet. The clock has a single chain fusee movement.
