A very good and well figured Regency pollard oak occasional table of fine colour. The rounded rectangular top with beaded edge over a frieze with inset beaded panels either side of a central cock beaded drawer, with two further panels and a dummy drawer on the opposite side. A further beaded moulding around the circumference of the bottom of the frieze. The table is supported by a pair of ring turned and acanthus carved columns on a platform base. The table stands on four swept moulded legs with leaf carved knees, with applied turned disks and terminating in excellent cast brass hairy paw caps and castors. A table of a quality which suggests the manufacture by an important cabinet maker.
