Circa 1815, a Regency rosewood music stand. The rectangular rosewood top with very stylish fore edge has 2 small brass holes, is hinged and opens to show an adjustable bar at the back. Below is a central drawer with a makers name and inside is a small rosewood piece of wood with brass spokes to lock into position on the top for holding the music in place. The drawer has the same stylish carved fore edge and wonderful carved knob handle. Below is an open area with 3 dividers, and another drawer below in the same style as the front. The whole piece stands on squat turned feet. Excellent little piece of furniture.
