An early 19th century Regency yew wood veneered jewel casket.
The casket has a box wood edge and a cross banded lid with a central transfer decorative panel of a lady with a child on her knee.
The box has gilded brass hairy paw feet and rosette backed ring handles.
The interior has a lift out tray with a division and is paper and red velvet lined.
The box if in good original condition, the transfer decoration does show signs of wear and the tray has been re-lined with red velvet. (Circa 1820)
