A Richard Chaffers, Liverpool porcelain tea bowl and saucer, c. 1758. Both items painted in blue, with a Chinese scene of a pavilion before a tree, on the mainland, with a bridge leading to trees on an island.An inverted 'V' formation of birds in flight above the river.
Pitting to the inside of the tea bowl.
Diameter of saucer - 12.5 cm, 4 7/8".
Diameter of tea bowl - 8 cm, 3 1/8". Height - 4 cm, 1 5/8".
Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
