Elliott Seabrooke
(b.1886)

A landscape and still life painter in oils, Elliott Seabrooke was born in Essex in 1886, and studied art at the Slade School between 1906 and 1911. His early works were painted in Epping Forest and the Lake District, but later worked in Italy, France and Holland, and widely in Essex. He was an official war artist in the 1914-18 war, working in Italy. First one-man show held in 1912 at the Carfax Gallery. Exhibited with the NEAC 1909-20 and at the LG from 1919. Member of the LG 1920, and PLG 1943-48. Represented in several public collections.
