A nicely proportion rosewood mantel clock, dating to the end of the 19th Century. It has a serpentine top, a front panel that is inlaid with satinwood marquetry, and a scroll base and brass block feet. The high quality embossed bezel has an enamel chapter ring and an engine turned centre. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Richard & Co. of Paris
The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
