An unusual, original, rosewood mantel clock dating to the beginning of the Victorian period. It has a rectangular case, with a stepped front with shaped double pillars. The rectangular dial has a window in the base which is signed by the maker M. Baurle, of Drury Lane, London. His Son Alexander is listed as working 1863-81, so this clock probably predates this by about 20 years to c.1850. It has a single train 8 day fusee movement.
The case is in excellent original condition. The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
