Wonderful and unusual painting of men on a beach salting the daily catch.

George Boyle was an English painter of landscape and marine scenes. He mostly painted in an Impressionist style which was very influenced by the French Barbizon painters such as Corot.

This is a very unusual subject for the painter...possibly unique subject for the painter
