A miniature portrait of E P Wostenholme. He is wearing a grey jacket and blue waistcoat and white chemise with a blue cravat. Watercolour in an oval gilt metal frame.

Additional Information: Samuel Lover 1797 - 1868. Born in Dublin where he worked as an artist and came to London in 1834 where one of his exhibits at the Royal Academy was a portrait miniature of Paganini. He worked in America 1846-1848. The National Gallery in Dublin has a self portrait of him.
