Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The finely-made domed case is of small proportions and slightly flared, the sides with a lively classic satinwood veneer. The front has a contrasting flame satinwood veneer panel edged with ebony stringing. The cavetto-moulded front border is edged on both sides with a rope banded ebony and boxwood stringing. The clock is raised on unusual double ogee bracket feet.
The eight day movement has the original silvered lever platform escapement, and is surmounted with the alarm bell.
A particularly eye-catching dial is the finishing touch - the pale blue ground has a crazed design, set within a white ring with the outer seconds track, and two further white chapter rings within. The dial is protected by a convex beveled glass.
The movement is to be overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years, but is pictured here prior to servicing.
