An early 19th century George IV Scottish sterling silver ladle.
The ladle is made from a heavy gauge of silver and has a curved handle and a deep oval bowl.
The ladle has halls marks for Edinburgh, the date mark for 1817, the mark of George IV and the maker's mark for William Hannay.
The ladle is in very good condition. (Circa 1817)
Length 35cm (13.8 inches)
Bowl: 9cm x 11cm (3.5 inches x 4.3 inches)
