These exceptional George III Scottish sterling silver toddy ladles have been crafted in the Fiddle pattern with a shell shaped bowl.

The anterior surface of each handle is embellished with simplified engraved floral and scrolling leaf ornamentation.

The decoration to each terminal incorporates a scroll bordered cartouche with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a demi-lion rampant.

The reverse of these impressive examples of antique silverware feature a rounded heel to the embossed shell shaped bowl.
