A good set of eight 18th century ladder-back chairs, including a pair of armchairs, George III, ca 1770.

These are high quality classic Chippendale period chairs of lovely colour, with horizontal pierced, crisply carved scrolling back splats, all with moulded frames standing on square legs united by H-stretchers. Sturdy and of generous eighteenth century proportions. These are sophisticated antique Georgian chairs in original condition. Gross point needlework covers later.
