Set of 6 Chippendale Design Antique Victorian Chairs
Dating from around 1890 this beautiful set of six walnut Victorian antique dining chairs are in the design of the renowned furniture maker Thomas Chippendale. Each antique chair has wavy ladder backs with beautifully carved central motifs. The chairs stand on splayed back legs, squared front legs and have H stretchers for added stability. The antique chairs are upholstered in a rich deep pink fabric with a matching braid trim, are a rich light golden walnut with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
