Item Description / Dealer Expertise

A fine set of six William IV rosewood Dining Chairs, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, retaining their original colour and patination throughout. The serpentine top rails with carved cartouche decoration. Below, the carved central splat joins the curved vertical uprights. The chairs are raised upon turned and tulip carved legs and have all been traditionally re-upholstered. A wonderful set of chairs with good colour and original patination to the show-wood.
